A Masterpiece for Your Mantelpiece
This stylish and eye-catching frame is inspired by geometric art and centuries-old ‘Seengh Ka Kaam’ (horn work) craft which is still practised today.

Traditionally, it involves repurposing discarded bones and horns from slaughter houses. However, craftsmen have adapted this art form using individually hand cut pieces of MDF and plant-based resin to ethically-produce this array of frames that are visually striking and vegan-friendly. Aside from looking great on any mantelpiece, its soft, smooth finish also feels good in your hands when passed around the room for all to see.

Drawing, cutting and piecing the design together requires great precision and patience – qualities that Mohammed and his team of artisans from Sambhal in India have perfected. The city is famous for this artistry which is under threat of being lost due to the lack of appreciation for the skill.

The Material
Unlike its traditional form, this photo frame is carefully pieced together using individual, hand-cut shapes of sustainable MDF and varnished with a plant-based resin for a slick and glossy finish.
